The mask has already become a symbol of 2020-21 - this is our new reality.
The reality is which your new acquaintances have only half of the face. It's sad, strange, and funny. And, people's creativity is manifested even about such a utilitarian thing. People find themselves in a similar situation and we understand each other more than ever, we are looking for support, a smile hidden behind a piece of cloth. We smile, bumping our eyes into an unusual mask. This is what my series of portraits is about - nothing seems to unite us, but we understand each other well, even without words, only by the eyes.
